Price your possessions.
Arrange your items attractively to optain the best possible price.
Place classified ads in area newspapers.
Contact prospective collectors, dealers, and good customers so they are aware of your sale in advance.
Provide signs advertising the sale.
DURING THE SALE I WILL…
Give numbers to prevent overcrowding at the start of the sale.
Have plenty of help to maintain order during the sale.
Display better jewelry, sterling, and collectibles under glass.
Write receipts on all sales so you have accurate records.
Take bids throughout the days of the sale.
AFTER THE SALE I WILL…
Contact the charity of your choice to pick up any remaining items.
OR
Offer a unit price to a local dealer to guarantee that the house is emptied.
AND
Clean up and remove any leftover items from the house and/or garage, including sweeping and vacuuming all floors.
Most sales run for two days
9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Fees and Payments…
After the sale I will provide you with your payment and a listing of all major items sold.
Fees for the services of Sales By Steiner, LLC are charged on the basis of a pre-negotiated percentage of gross sales. All fees are clearly stated in our contract.
